The end is finally here!!!

Wow! I can not believe that my four years at Trinity are finally over. The time has gone by so fast. It is such a bittersweet moment. I am so excited that I am done with college and I get to move onto the next chapter of my life. At the same time I am really sad because I have made amazing friends here and I do not want to leave them. My four years at Trinity have been amazing. I came in as a freshman being apart of the ESL group (Now know as EKL, we were the cooler ones *wink *wink.) I quickly bonded with that group and we all hung out freshman year. Sophomore year came around and we all started doing our own things, we were still friends but some not as close. Junior year came around and about the same thing, this time with a lot more work, and freaking out about the future. Senior year finally came and all of sudden you look around and say “Where has the time gone? I thought I had a much longer time!” You start to realize you are not as close to the people you spent all your time with freshman year. So you start to get all sentimental and want to hangout with everyone all the time. Then you quickly realize that there is still a lot of work to be done and you find yourself closed off from the rest of the campus, to be honest I still look around and I see freshman I have never seen before till that moment. The time on campus goes by so quickly, so make sure to make the most of it. Spend it with friends, have fun! Because before you know it you will be like me, sitting on the very uncomfortable Trinity couches in Madsen in the midst of all the boxes and packing that is going on. And realizing that the time is about to end in a few short days. If there is one thing I would change, I would be more bold. I had a lot of friend groups, but I wish I could have talked to so many of the other students on campus, just to hear their stories. Each person has a different one and it mostly likely is not what you would think it is.  I am officially done with my college career, which means that this is my last post and I am done with my blogging career too! So go out, meet new people and make the most of your time at Trinity!

Last Day of Student Teaching

Today was my last day of student teaching! It was such an emotional day! My kids threw me a party with ice cream cake and they made me a binder with their writing and why they like me, what their favorite memory was and what they would teach if they were a teacher. They know I love Reese’s so I have candy to last me forever. During the party all the kids started crying and of course I started balling too, but it was then I realized how blessed I was. God had used me in that classroom to touch their lives and show his love to them! They are such s blessing to me and I will miss them so much!!

So I was babysitting and the girl and I decided to play with her barbies. We started to play when I saw this big bucked filled with barbies that she doesn’t touch. I asked her why and she said because they were not pretty anymore. So of course we had to do makeovers on them. Here are some before and after pictures.

Last Hoorah!

So like I mentioned in my earlier post about the Christmas party, a few of my friends are graduating this semester. So it will be a while before we see them again. We all decided that we would head to Milwaukee to hangout and go out to eat. It was such a great time to just relax and have fun after a busy semester.

Gospel Choir Christmas Concert

Tonight was the Gospel Choir Concert!!! The choir did such an amazing job!! I usually sing with the choir, but this year I decided not be apart of it. Although I was not in the choir I spent my time decorating for the concert. I had decorated for last years christmas concert as well so I had an idea of what I  wanted to do. I spent about the whole day in the chapel decorating with a few of the other MDO cabinet members.

Friends Christmas Party

Yesterday my friends and I decided to have a Christmas party in my suite. We all picked out names for a secret santa gift exchange. A few of my friends are graduating this semester so it was kind of like a last hoorah. It was nice to spend some time with my friends before we all left for break. Also since we had the party the week before finals, it was a great way to just relax before all the crazy!

A few pictures of the night

Thanksgiving 2014

My extended family always gets together for all the holidays. This year Thanksgiving was at my aunts house. Since two of us cousin are in college we don’t see everyone as often as we used to, so it was nice to see everyone again. It was funny because everyone came over at 6 and we started eating right away. We all finished and were ready to sleep when we looked at the time and it was only 7! So we decided to take our family pictures then so that we didn’t have to take it at the end of the night when everyone is tired. Here are the pictures…

I have always been fascinated by nail designs, and as a kid I would try to play around with nail polishes and try to do different designs. It didn’t work out so well, recently I have started trying again and I have gotten so much better. So I have asked some people if I could do their nails and they said yes. I posted them on IG and a lot of people liked them, they even said they would pay me. So now I do eyebrows and nails for people at Trinity! Here are a few of the most recent ones i have done.
